      Hi Everyone,

      One of our Councillors has asked the question why shouldn’t OLG reimburse us the total 100% (of course they have!). It has started this big discussion and I have been asked to find out if other states give 100%?

      Is anyone able to assist with my question?

        Hi Dani,
        Not sure, sorry. The legislation differs from state to state. You might have to ring one council in each state and find out from them directly.

          Try looking at the local government act legislation for each of the states.

          You will probably find each state is different. Know when I was at Port Macquarie and was looking at rebates for superannuants I found that other states (WA and South Aust from memory) gave rebates to superannuants.

            Hi Dani,

            See page 134 ( page 140 of the PDF) of IPARTS’s Final Report from December 2016. They summarised the assistance provided by each state at the time.

            They give some other info that might help you too.
