Has the 2022-2023 Permissable Income Workpapers been issued as yet? Assume there is a delay due to the ASV process?

      Appreciate any feedback.

      Thanks

        Hi Mick

The RP Executive Committee have been lobbying the OLG to update and issue the work papers and as at yesterday we received the latest version and are now testing it with a view to identify any issues.

You are correct, one of the issues is how to accommodate the population growth factor and also the 10year catch-up.
Will try and get them back to the OLG as soon as possible.

Hope you are well and keeping safe.

        Regards,
        Andrew

Dear all-is there any updates on this, Audit is commencing on the 5th September and require the correct 22-23 Permissible income workpapers as currently the one on the website is still incorrect it has no rate peg for 22-23 in the formula.
              Thank you
              regards
              Suzy

                Hi Suzi

Due to the rate peg being different for all Councils this field should now be editable. The peg can be entered on Schedule 3 of the workpapers.

I know there was an issue with the original version but an updated one is now on the OLG website.

                  Hi
Just want to confirm that for those of us that received the ASV is this percentage entered into Cell G6 of the Calcuation Tab or into the Rate peg cell in Schedule 3 (I end up with the same result, just want to make sure I have it in the right spot)
While still on Permissable Income – are we permitted to claim on objections for a previous base date?
                  Thanks
                  Glynes

                    Hi Glynes
Pretty sure the ASV is to be treated the same as general variation and you only need it to be entered into cell F14 on schedule 3.
Yes you can claim lost income that has occurred due to an objection for any number of previous years across multiple base dates.
                    Hope you are doing well.

                    Regards,
                    Andrew
