      Hi Everyone

At the conference I mentioned that you can access recent court cases when using the Australasian Legal Information Institute. The link directly to the Australasian Legal Information Institute is http://www6.austlii.edu.au/

The link directly to the Local Government Act 1993 is
      http://www6.austlii.edu.au/cgi-bin/viewdb/au/legis/nsw/consol_act/lga1993182/.
Once there, all you do is go and click on whatever Section of the Act you are interested in and then on the right-hand side of the page it says Cited By Note Up references. If you click on this it will show you everywhere that particular section of the Act has been cited on their database. The best thing of all is it shows all related court cases which I’ve found to be of enormous benefit.

      Hope this helps
      Robert
