Australia Post Digital and Sydney Water

      Hi All,
      For those using Australia Post Digital mailbox as a notice delivery option, you may be interested to know that Sydney Water are getting out of APDM as a delivery method.. be interested to know how Councils that use APDM, and their numbers compare to other electronic delivery methods such as BPAYView and mailhouse email services

        Ken, we only offer APDM and BPay view and they both were implemented at the same time two years ago. Bpayview is way ahead of APDM. I think its because BPay are constantly refreshing their advertising campaign where APDM isn’t.

        But interesting that utility companies are moving away from APDM.

          Hi Ken,
          I don’t know why more than one electronic method is offered by Councils. Giving ratepayers a choice only affects take up of the different options available.
          We only offer MyPOST and whilst numbers are not fantastic it is increasing each time we issue notices.
          When considering electronic delivery there were things I did not like about all the options available (MyPOST included) but the one thing MyPOST had that BPAYVIEW and the others could not offer was full integration with Pathway.
          I have chosen not to fully integrate at this point but there is little or no staff time required in maintaining the system.
