Recently the NSW Government approached the RP regarding a new Federal Government initiative designed to assist people in notifying government agencies of a deceased person.
Essentially this works via a weblink on your council site that directs people to a central data base where they can select who they wish to notify and leave their contact details, the institution receives this information and can then contact the notifier of next steps.
