I’ve been asked to reach out across the industry to find out how others determine the rating category for boarding houses.
Currently, we rate them as business unless they meet the criteria under S516 (1A) of the Act relating to tariffs and tenure, in which they would then be rated residential.
I understand this is a contentious issue so look forward to the responses.
