Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has been paid for the additional claim for 75% burnscar rate relief for those that didn’t have their residences destroyed or has any information on when we may be paid.

Also does anyone have any further info on the media release stating the funding has been extended for another 6 months for those that had their property destroyed

Hi Lee,

At Mid-Western, we had a small number of houses destroyed plus quite a few other properties over the 75% burn.

We haven’t been paid any of the 20/21 payments. Our BF officer has followed up with our Service NSW contact on many occasions, as well as with Resilience NSW to no avail.

I’ll be asking OLG reps if they can follow up at the next RP Exec meeting on 23/8. I don’t understand what the hold up is.

Hi Lee,

We are in the same situation. When I contacted our Service NSW contact he said he wasn’t handling this matter anymore and had forwarded my emails to the person now handling things and that they would contact me. I have heard nothing.

Hi Everyone

Same here at Lithgow. Service NSW asked us to put in a claim for those partially damaged properties.

To date, we still haven’t heard anything despite follow up emails on a number of occasions.

Hi Everyone,

The matter of unpaid bushfire rate relief payments was raised at the RP Executive meeting on 23/8/21. OLG are aware that not all payments have been made to Councils and will take the matter up internally and with Service NSW.

In order to assist OLG to follow up, they have requested a list of Councils still awaiting payments.

If your Council is effected by non-payment, could you please reply to this post, or email admin@revpronsw.dev.nucleoserver.com outlining the unpaid amounts. Please respond by 31/8/21 so we can collate a list & forward to OLG.

Hopefully this action will help resolve the issue for our effected ratepayers.

Good morning Revenue Professionals Team,

We are still awaiting payment for the Q1 and Q2 additional rural properties invoiced in December 2020 for $125,332.35.

Has anyone heard any more about the additional rates relief announced on 26 July 2021? We have not been contacted by anyone.
