Cancelling Levies on new subdivisions

      Hi,

      As part of Council’s rating of new subdivisions policy We cancel levies on the parent property from the date of registration of the DP.
      The question is when do other Councils cancel the levy?
      Do they cancel when the subdivision is registered or when a supp is provided by the VG?
      We understand the date is the same its just when it is implemented.

        We do the same as you and cancel when the subdivision is registered.

              We cancel the rates on the parent from the date of registration as soon as we receive notification of the registration.

                      We cancel from the start of the next quarter. We implemented this to tie in with the FESL when it was a goer.
