Community Service Obligations (CSOs) eg pensioner rebates and exempt properties

      Our water and sewerage service pricing is regulated (set) by IPART and we are having discussions with IPART about how revenue “shortfalls” from CSOs should be funded.

      As part of these discussions, and I presume for comparison purposes only, IPART are also looking at how other local council water authorities in NSW fund the shortfall in revenue due to CSOs.

      Can you please advise if your council (or yourself) has a view on how CSOs are or should be funded please.
