We have knocked back a pensioner concession application as the customer has a CSHC card not a Concession Card.

The customer is claiming his friends have have received rebates with this card.

The CSHC is to provide assistance to low income and self managed super fund retirees who do not qualify for the age pension.

Has anyone else given a rebate for holders of CSHC?

Hi Karen

CSHC is the same as a Senior’s Health Card.

It is not a Pension Concession Card so they would not be eligible for the rebate.

If your customer’s friends have been granted a rebate using a CSHC Card it is incorrect.
