Hi everyone,

We believe there are up to a dozen sections of the FESL Act that require Council to do something. We are scrambling to get the delegations from Council to CEO and from CEO to staff in place to deal with these.

Is everyone else doing the same?

Updating delegations and Council’s compliance schedule is on the (long) list of things to do here at Blue Mountains re: the FESL.

We are currently in the process of updating our delegations.

I would suggest these delegations would need to be in place asap and definitely before Council raises the FESL charge as part of their rate levies.

Luckily for us, our current GM delegations includes a blanket cover for Council functions from other Acts. The delegations from the GM down will need to be sorted out.
