Hope everyone is well.
Like a lot of Council’s, Lithgow is going through the process of reviewing our rates and charges that we are levying the different rate categories.
Currently we use a structure of ad valorem and base amounts.
As part of this process I want to go back and look at the base amounts and how Section 536 of the LGA is used to determined these amounts.
Wondering if anyone has gone through this process of working out the actual costs that are relevant in determining the base amount.
Would appreciate if anu information could be shared om the forum.
