Direct Debit by Credit Card

      Hello All
      Just wondering if any Council’s currently offer payment of rates by direct debit using credit card.
      We are starting to have a few enquiries from ratepayers requesting that we make this option available so I guess it is time to start some investigations.
      As we charge a Merchant Service Fee on Credit Card transaction we need to be able to incorporate this as part of the process.
      So if there is anyone who offers direct debit by credit card and charges a merchant service fee I would love to hear from them.

        Hi Trev,

        We have a user initiated direct debit from credit card facility built through our online business services gateway, but we don’t charge the surcharge.
