Hi there
One of our customers was advised by Services NSW that some changes were made in September 2025, that entitles DVA White Card holders to more rebates across the board than previously. In regard to council concessions on Rates / Water, it was apparently suggested to the customer that this relaxing “could” also include councils.

Has anyone heard of anything about DVA White Card holders becoming entitled to a pensioner concession? I’ve done some reading and I’m thinking No, but no harm in asking. Thank you.

I reached out to the OLG as I am aware that they are revising the Pensioner Concession Rebate application forms and there was no mention of the DVA White Card in the review.

The OLG has just been in contact with the Department of Veteran Affairs who have confirmed that the DVA White Card does not allow holders to claim a rebate concession under the Local Government Act 1993.

The new hardcopy, verbal and on-line forms will be avaialble soon.
