      Hi,

      Just wondering has anyone else received an email from Revenue NSW seeking to clarify ESF Data Discrepancies. I received the email at 10.54am today and they require a response by COB Friday!

        Hi Emma,
        Nothing yet (fingers crossed).
        Wondering what sort and how many discrepancies they have identified AND really how they would know there were any in the first place?

          Hi Emma,

          I received an email on 15th January about discrepancies (comparing classifications to rating data from OLG 2022-2023), which I have explained and now they want to me to change the data and re-submit the template. I am not really sure what they want me to change…I don’t think the land classifications are wrong. I am going to call this afternoon.

            Yes our discrepancies are also comparing classifications to rating data from OLG 2022-2023;

            Main issues are # of Business assessments to the commercial and industrial codes and a 4% variance in the # of pensioners.

              Emma,
              exactly what our issues where. I have spoken to Jill @ Revenue and sorted it out. It was just Business rated assessments being classified as GOVT and PUBLIC. Good luck

                Hi Sue

                I had the same issue caused by Goldenfields Water properties rated as Business.

                They didnt require me to change anything, just accepted my explanation.

                Regards
                Peter

                  I had the same issue back in January. comparing classifications to rating data from OLG 2022-2023. Advised residential and business rated assessments being classified as GOVT and PUBLIC. We did find a small number that were incorrectly classified (approx 20) Received another email today asking if we are going to update and resubmitt.
