Good afternoon RP members!

I need help on categorisation for Group home.

We have received a occupation certificate for one of the property in our Council area which has application stated “Construction of group home (containing 8 single bedrooms)?
Has anyone had the above situation before and if so are you rating the property as business or residential?

Hi Gini

I would rate these as Residential, often they are owned by a Public Benenovolent Institution and therefore (following an application) may be exempt.
