Hello,
We have a councilor that believes we should be issuing invoices to him each time we raised interest on the account, this particular scenario relates to water usage notices. 2 questions
1. does interest need to be itemized on the notices as its own line?
2. does a separate notification need to issued once interest is charged?
I cannot find in regulation sec 127 or the act sec 544 that says interest must be listed as an itemized charge. We are getting hit very hard by the councilors at the moment so appreciate any advice. Carmel
