Yesterday I found a Fact Sheet released by IPART when they set the 2.3% rate peg for 2018/19. It contains a proposal to bring forward the rate peg announcement to early September each year. Unfortunately the time to “have your say” has closed but it might still be worth having a read and sending your thoughts on the proposal.
Personally I think it will be helpful for us to know sooner.
