Has any other Council had issues with concession applications for JobSeeker’ beneficiaries?
We are noticing that the verifications are coming back with a ‘Payment Grant Date’ of 20 March 2020 – the date that NewStart etc were rolled into Jobseeker. Not sure if it is a change in the Centrelink verifications or coincidence.
If the applicant provides a concession card, that’s fine, we have other dates to go on, but as they’re not required to, I’m concerned that there we may be at risk of providing a short concessions.
