      Greetings all,
Today that grand old veteran flies the coup to the next stage in his life – retirement.
Widely known as ‘Granty”, his contribution to our industry has spanned over 45 years – that’s longer than most of our members have been alive!
He has seen journal books, accounting machines, bureaus, microfiche, floppy disks, hard disks, rural rating, loan rates, local rates, company title, old titles, new titles, ucv, lv, icv, aav, 1919 lga, 1993 lga, town clerks, housing commission, doh, facs, viv farquarson, garbin, hoenig, maria smith, robert lowndes, genasys, geac, bankstown, fairfield, wollondilly, auburn, sydney city, leichhardt, inner-west, mowing lawns.
Have a great permanent “gardening leave” mate. Always good to go out on your own terms.

      Ken

        Absolutely brilliant!
Ken has nailed this, like many others we have been blessed to have had John amongst us he is a true ‘statesman’ of the industry and a go to person for knowledge and wisdom.
Hope the next chapter is as successful as the first.
        Regards,
        Andrew

Congratulations John. I can say that retirement is a great role. I’m enjoying it immensely.
