I am very sad to advise that our President, John, passed away on Thursday afternoon. John was hospitalised on 11 May for a bone marrrow transplant to treat his leukaemia condition and developed viral pneumonia shortly afterwards.
A mass will be held at St Thomas Moore Catholic Church, 43 Acacia Avenue, Ruse, NSW on Thursday 14th July 2016 at 10 am.

Very sad news. John was a good mate over the past 40 or so years. His contribution and friendship to his family of Rating Professionals, and to Local Government will be hard to surpass.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Jane , also with Johns Family.
                        RIP Tojo

                            Jane,
Thinking of you at this tough time. You have been amazing.
I can only echo everyone’s sentiments regarding John.
“Icon of the industry” is an often over used term.
But in John’s case, a fitting description.

Thinking of you Jane. John made such a huge & positive impact on this industry and also on a lot of people & organisations outside the industry, such as the CCC & many sporting clubs. He was one of the best and will be very sadly missed big time.
