Please find attached new regulation making the 1.5times factor for residential sub categories for ordinary rates applicable to all councils now. Previously it only applied to new councils as per Section 749 but now is applicable to all.
The regulation inserts clause 124 in and says:
124 Highest ordinary rate for certain rateable land
For the purposes of the Act, section 530(4), the factor of 1.5 times is prescribed.
