I’ve submitted my ESF onboarding form last week but still haven’t received the activation email.
Does anyone know how long does it take? We just want to see the GM letter so we could know what we can start preparing.
We’re preparing the data now, just wondering if you could share the GM letter so at least we know what supporting documents that we need to submit to Revenue NSW?

The only for I have submitted is the ESF – Council information form. It is just confirmation of Council information, bank account and acknowledging that the land classifications are due 2 December.
I think that the only data/forms in the MFT at the moment are the VG file, the upload template, the ESF Council info form and the land classification manuals – but happy to be proven wrong!
In a meeting yesterday with Revenue NSW this issue was raised and I believe an email has been sent to all councils advising that ‘due to delays with the onboarding process Revenue NSW will aim to complete your account creation within 72 hours of receiving a completed ESF onboarding form.’
In addition, the form referred to as the GM letter may be one of two things, 1) the Treasurer has sent a letter to all councils advising of the ESF process (albeit after we have all started), 2) the form that needs to be signed by your GM which includes the bank details for payment – this form should be visible in your ESF Template folder>>ESF council information form.
