      Folks

I am aware that there are councils/recovery agents who forward correspondence to the property owners mortgagee informing them that there is arrears on the property.

If councils do or don’t what are the pro’s and con’s?
Is this legal or are we breaching the owner’s privacy?
Do you notify the mortgagee of arrears for both rates and water or just rates?

      Thanks in advance.
