Is land owned by “Property NSW” owned by the Crown? I am doing a review of all our non-ratable properties and note that our police station and houses are owned by Property NSW. I don’t see Police listed as a specific exemption – so please advise if they come under one of the categories listed in Section 555 or 556.

Status of Property NSW

5 Status of Property NSW

Property NSW is a statutory body representing the Crown and has the status, privileges and immunities of the Crown.

Based on the above it would be 555 (1)(a)
(a) land owned by the Crown, not being land held under a lease for private purposes,
