Attention Pathway Infor Users using UX

At Lake Mac, when a property is subdivided and we need to transfer the remaining balance from the parent assessment to the newly created child assessments, the process is currently very manual and quite time-consuming.

We’re reviewing our current approach and would love to know:

1.Does your council have a more automated process for transferring funds from a parent record to child assessments following a subdivision?
2.If so, are you using a specific Pathway function, report, or workaround to streamline this?

Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Elizabeth,

There is a function in the supp batch. You set up a transfer group and then select “transfer from” on the parent and “transfer to” on the child. This is a perfect solution for anything with a registration (effective date) in the current financial year.

Should the registration date (effective date) be in a previous financial year, you may encounter an issue when it will not pick up the details of the previous year rates and charges when you run your supplementary rate notices. There is a work around which I would be happy to share with you offline. Steve 🙂
