      Dear Professionals

We have received an application for a rebate from a customer on 30.6.15, who sold the property in February 2015. The date of grant was 31 July 2014, and the rebate would have applied for instalments 2 & 3.
The customer has written a supporting letter advising there have been very traumatic circumstances and was not in a position to make application when he was eligible.

Would anyone consider granting the rebate under “compassionate/hardship” reasoning?

I appreciate you are all busy at this time of year, and appreciate any feedback received.

      kind regards
      Karen

        Hi Karen
Just wondering if you ended up granting the rebate or denying it? We have had a few claims lately asking for the pension to be back-dated quite a few years and i was hoping to get some advice on letter wording to knock these back?
        Thanks Carla
