      Hi,

Just have a question for anyone who has run their Pension Validation this month. We have run ours with Centrelink and the response file output data we got back is different. There are additional lines in the response, which are different to last year’s report. Yes, we only run ours yearly. The report has 41,028 records (20,514 pensioners), which is about right, but when we run the file through Pathway, even though it takes 3 hours to run, it only reads 902 pensioners (1,804 records).
So my question is, has your Centrelink output data report changed and if it has, have you been able to run your validation successfully through your Rates software?

      Thanks for your time
      Andrea

After the discussion with Christine and Susana we will run ours this today.

        Will keep you posted

          Hi Andrea,

We ran a check 2 weeks ago and the file doesn’t appear to have changed. We ran ours through our system (TechOne) and it ran successfully with all our pensioners showing.
          Thanks
          Brad

We have attempted to upload both the DVA and DSS files today – rejected within moments and cannot access the files to discover the issues.

Guessing the errors associate with the new system…

              Hi All.

For those councils that are on Pathway, I have spoken to Greg Woodhead from Infor this morning in relation to this. It can be for two reasons:
              1. there could be duplicate pensioner details in the response files and Pathway will only allow one entry, so you will need to identify these errors and clean up the data and re-run the verification extract and submit to Centrelink.
              2. depending on the version you are on, any version above 3.10.10, there are fixes that came out in the knowledge base that need to be updated. If you are on the latest 3.10.13 there should be no problems.

I suggest that you contact Infor directly for advice on how to move forward if you are having any issues.

              Hope this helps.

                Hi All

                Thanks Tracey

Appreciate the advice and update from IN. Ran the process a while back and came up with errors so will try again.

                Regards
                Trevor

                  Hi everyone,
Thank you for all the calls we got and the info on here. And thanks to Tracey for talking to Infor on our behalf. We have been able to run the process and get the results report on our 2nd attempt. We didn’t do anything different except I ran it this time and not Christine (new senior officer), so it may have something to do with access. So we are now ploughing through the non-validated ….
