Mid-Western Regional Council has received a request from a charity for exemption from water & sewer under Sec 558 of the LGA. Exemptions under 558 are voluntary, and our Council has never provided these exemptions. We have always charged all our non-rateable properties if they are connected.
I’m interested to know if any Councils have a policy that deals with providing, or not providing, exemptions from W&S.
