I’m just finalising the data to be sent to Valuation services and note that the valuation for the ad valorem component is to be the land value less the attributable value where the property has postponed rates. However, as the ‘postponed value’ is not supplied with the 2016 file won’t the figures given be overstated?
I have just spoken to Tracy Walsh this morning and she has already advised Treasury so they are aware the data files will not have any 585s, as under legislation we need to apply for them.
So in answering your question you submit your data as is with 2016 values.
