      Hi,

Naturally we are all staring at a re-val.

We have seen mixed changes in our re-val. We are also fortunate enough to have a SRV on top of the rate peg, starting this year. Just wondering does anyone have any flyers, brochures, ‘please explain’ info that I may be able to borrow to explain why their rates went up as a result of the re-val?

To give you an idea, within our township, I have had general rates, go down, stay the same, go up by $500 per year. Between a few of us in finance, we have seen $5/year increase to $210/ year increase.

        Hi all,

I have just moved down to Snowy Monaro Regional Council (Berridale) & the old Snowy River portion of the new council has had a similar result to Emma’s situation from 3 years ago. Has anyone got a good spiel/public announcement we could utilize or use as a reference to write our own to explain the changes to rates levy above the rate peg in a reval year. If you do and are happy to share, could you please email me a copy at: fiona.mckenzie@snowymonaro.nsw.gov.au

        Cheers Fi
