The NSW Revenue Professionals is developing a one off training module that deals with the Local Government Amendment Bill and subsequent Act reforms.
We anticipate that it will run following the outcomes of the Rating Reference Group and guidelines or regulations have been developed. The cost is expected to be kept to a minimum.
The NSW Government acted on 20 of the IPART’s 42 recommendations which has consequently resulted in 4 reforms commencing on assent and 6 reforms yet to commence by proclamation.
We have started working on training which is quite a task and we are now looking for your support on the need for training and if you (your council) would likely attend?
