Residential rated properties with separate profitable accommodation

      I am currently reviewing residential properties within our vineyard region. We have multiple properties that are currently rated residential, have a main residence the ratepayers reside at, and they also have separate dwellings on the property that seemingly run a profitable accommodation type business from there as well.

      Do you have any properties that are similar and if so, how does your Council rate them? Do they just rate them within the residential category as the dominant use is residential or do you have a sub-category? If you rate them in a sub-category how are they determined to fall within that category?

      Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
