Afternoon all,
When we receive the data file this or next month, will it be in the format of previous files.
Particularly interested whether lots in a strata plan will have the property ID relative to the entire strata (which is how we are set up & the format of the previous files) or will it now contain the PID numbers created for the FESL which will obviously cause us and other Councils problems.
Dave
I have been in touch with the Valuer-General and received advice that they are aware of an issue and will be contacting affected councils in due course.
Accordingly if your council has received its GVAL keep an eye out for the update or contact Michael Smith on michael.smith@property.nsw.gov.au
We received our G/Val file and yes the file included the PID numbers for each strata child (as was proposed to accommodate FESL). I will contact Michael Smith.
Thanks Andrew/Michael, we received our file on Friday and it also includes strata PID’s so we haven’t been able to load it. I spoke to Michael Smith this morning whose advised that we would need to go to our software provider (Civica) & request that they remove this field from their file or update our program to accept them. Did you have an luck with yours Michael?
Thanks,
I have just been made aware of an issue that may concern some council’s when importing their revaluation file.
“We have some instances where files failed to extract fully due to a network time out. If that is the case with your council we will arrange to undertake another extract and resupply”.
This note is form Property NSW.
Hi Lisa, we’ve loaded the patch & have attempted to load the g-val file again. We managed to get it loaded but can’t get it to update so doesn’t appear that the patch has fixed all of our issues. I’ve referred it back to Civica but haven’t heard anything yet. Can you let me know how you go with yours?
Thanks
We have uploaded the patch and the G-val into our test environment and all appears to be fine. It all balances and we intended to load both files into Live soon.
