Gunnedah Shire Council is investigating the introduction of a s611 charge for pipelines, as the proposed Hunter Gas Pipeline will be passing through the LGA.
I am interested in hearing from councils that are currently charging a s611 charge for pipelines to find out what charge is currently being applied, the unit of measure for calculating the charge and any issues in collecting the charge.
