There has been a lot of discussion regarding the amendment to the Local Government Act, Section 505 that now includes a reference to the Fire and Emergency Services Levy (FESL).
This amendment unfortunately does not allow any changes to council processes.
I believe the Minister will issuing some advice shortly.
