      Shoalhaven

      Hello all,

Shoalhaven LGA is quite spread out with many areas of small population.

In respect of charging the stormwater charge, 125A(1) of the regs specifies that councils can only make or levy an annual charge for stormwater in respect of ‘urban land’. Urban land is “land within a city, town or village.”

Mt question is – are there any guidelines (or guidance) for what minimum size of population constitutes a village (especially), town and city?

        Hi Michael
I know these are old but as far as I know these are still the are only version of stormwater management guidelines issued by the OLG.
There is a definition of urban land on page 14. Stormwater-Guidelines
        Regards,
        Andrew
