Hi all
We have had an application from a ratepayer whose property has been proclaimed a Wildlife Refuge under Section 68 of NPW Act 1974 which states that the wildlife refuge status is given to whole land parcels and this remains current when land is sold or subdivided as long as the landowners wish. Are they entitled to any reduction in rates similar to conservation agreements?

I think Byron had something similar so they maybe able to assist with your enquiry. However, from memory I don’t think they were eligible.
