Just wondering if someone can interpret this request I have received today from a solicitors firm. Should Council complete an ownership change to the solicitors firm (which will be later confirmed by the LPMA) of the whole property, or should we leave the ownership as Mr and Mrs XXX and send the mail c/o the solicitors firm?

“PERMANENT CUSTODIANS LTD MORTGAGEE SALE OF XXXX & XXXX, of XXXX address

PURSUANT TO SECTION 604 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993

We act for Permanent Custodians Ltd. In accordance with section 604 of the Local Government Act 1993, we hereby give notice that our client entered into possession of the above land as mortgagee.

Please forward all council rates and water rates to our office. ”

        Hi Emma,

Probably a bit late now but I would leave the names as is & send it care of the solicitors or Permanent Custodians.
