We have had an MOU with our customer service for over 10 years. They take over 90% of all rates calls.
Regular training and liaison is undertaken by Rates, and a Rates Training manual is issued.

After reading the articles (assuming they are correct in all aspects) just re-enforces the need for all Councils to have a policy or policies that cover how the Council will adjust rates and charges retrospectively.

You can only set a charge on what you know at a point in time…….and what you don’t know might not even happen!
Unless it is regulated post levy, I think any reduction in DWM costs can be reflected next year
