      Hi Cherie, our minimum for legals is $1,000 providing that the balance is two or more instalments. If the overdue balance is $1,000 but is only one instalment we wait until the next instalment is overdue.

        Hi Megan,

        The University of Sydney have an animal hospital in Wollondilly that is used for vet training. We have granted exemption under sec 556(1)(l).

          Hi Lisa, we had a similar issue with Parking Permits when I was at Manly. We ended up making them an attachment to the bottom of the rate notice about the size of a bank deposit slip & then included an insert with further information. Our mailing house (SEMA) was able to fold the notice into the usual size with one extra fold without any issues.

            Hi Laura, our criteris is Minimum area 10 hectares, minimum stock 20 head, acceptable carrying capacity, qualifying stock not on agistment, relevant infrastructure such as dams, corrals, loading/unloading ramps, secure & appropriate fencing

              We grant Farmland rating for horses providing that they meet our grazing citeria.

                Hi Adele,
                We request that the new owner applies for Farmland rating upon receipt of a notice of sale within 30 days. If the new owner completes the application & still qualify no changes are made. If they don’t complete & return the application then the category is changed from the start of the new rating year & a declaration of category is posted.

                  Hi Amit, I would rate the property from date of settlement unless they submit an application for exemption & prove why they should be exempt.

                    Hi Ann, I’d ask them for a copy of their constitution or Articles of Association that incorporates them as a PBI & establishes their goals/objectives. I’d also request that they provide information about what each of their properties is used for & how these uses relate to the purposes in their constitution/articles.
