Thanks Tracey and Anthony, we are going to start using the online request form.
We have also had issues with our Supp lists balancing so no doubt part of their ValIQ issues and look forward to them getting that resolved and being able to manage requests. Seems it is a massive issue to be taking a such a long time to resolve.February 21, 2025 at 5:20 pm in reply to: Retain Pensioner Application Forms not stored Electronically #25171Hi Elizabeth
I agree with Anthony.
State Records Authority NSW – see FA450. I believe this applies to both physical and digital records.
No 20.6 requires the applications to be retained for 7 years after rebate no longer applies.
I think it would be very difficult to only digitise those physical records that were still current, so would want to do that for all records before they are destroyed. Also important to be able to identify and locate these for any particular property/ratepayer in case of audit. Our practice has been to keep current records in a specific container in our document management system – that never get destroyed. We then only move them to an annual container in the year the use ceases. That annual container has a 7 year retention on it, although we haven’t been so ruthless to destroy any at this stage.
It’s certainly a lot of work to digitise those, but I think it is worth it in the long run.Best of luck.
LyndalHi Dave – yes we received request for letter only and have already submitted all. Awaiting advise as to if there were any issues.
Update to my last query about the circular not showing on OLG website – I cant find via a search of the circular section but found via a search of their whole site.
Thanks Andrew.
Any idea why it is not showing on OLG website currently?Hi all – it appears that the circular has been removed from the OLG website. Anyone have a copy that they would be willing to share (email) much appreciated.
In addition – does anyone know the reasons and if we can expect the details to be changed?
I am particularly interested in the Interest rate as rate notice stationary is being finalised, and the 603 fee for our fees & charges.Hi all – finding this feed very helpful and have an application that appears to be once TPI and now MRCA and its posing even more questions…
In relation to running an individual verification in CCeS
1) For TPI/EDA – has anyone relied on the individual verifications showing a Yes in Disability Rate (Customer Details
Characteristic) to verify the TPI/EDA?
All our TPI/EDAs usually come back as Yes here, but this case is returning a No, even though the card shows TPI
We note all these tend to be PCC No and GCH Yes in the Card entitlements
2) For the MRCA verification – in the MRCA Entitlements section – we are seeing Characteristic of SRD as Yes.
We note it was a No @ 1/7/2022, but Yes @ 18/7/2022 for our ratepayer.
Is this sufficient to rely on as an individual verification? and use for date of eligibility?Hi all – any update on when we should be receiving this?
Thanks
LyndalHi Tracey
Northern Beaches does request and hold them in our NAR as much as people are willing. Used to try keep the NAR clear of duplicates.
We also request this in our pension concession application, as we have a voluntary rebate that applied to pensioners under retirement age
Cheers
LyndalHi Andrew – I found circular 20-19 issued 26/05/2020 contains notice that the maximum Section 603 certificate fee remains unchanged at $85.00.
Hi Andrew,
Northern Beaches Council – option 1 – Our current banking tender was done in 2018 for the merged council and all the payment options were all included in our scope.
I’m unsure if money order was included expressly, but very rare just the same, so not sure if we have had one in many years. -
