Just received an update from Valuation Services that “The aim is to complete and deliver all remaining council general valuations by the middle of next week”. FYI

Hi Cherie – there is no requirement to register a NSW residential lease (so its shown on the CT). I am going with you and classifying them all Residential NV. I also checked a few of the many we have here and none are reflected on the CT.

              Hi Linda –
              1. Our Call Centre collects the DOB and mobile # for any phone enquirer.

              2. By phone at point of enquiry.

              3. We do – but our Call Centre only commenced 14 months ago so we are steadily building the database.

              4. We use – middle name, current/previous postal address, ownership detail

              5. No real issues- the supply of DOB and mobile # by ratepayer is not mandatory but is encouraged as it assists both the ratepayer and Council.

              Hope this helps.

Hi Cherie – I have taken the approach that Aged Care facilities equate to a Nursing Home (fully serviced long term care – meals, bedding , medical etc) and are Commercial regardless of who is operating them.
I did post a question on the ESPL portal about the distinction between Retirement Villages, Aged Care Facilities/Nursing Homes for ESPL classification purposes but have yet to hear a response.

Would be interested in how others are treating them.
                Cheers

Matthew, we have setup a small team of 2 i.e. one full-time and one part-time. As with Tracey W. we are costing all their time spent on land classifications to a budget funded by the initial upfront payment. Cheers Mick
